What is Cupra?
Cupra is the new sporty brand from SEAT.
What's the benefit-in-kind rate for a Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid?
For the 2021-22 tax year it's 11%. That's pretty good, but other PHEVs will be cheaper still.
Can you rapid charge a Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid?
No, sadly not. As with many plug-in hybrids, the Cupra only offers slow charging of up to 3.6kW, which works out at around 3 and a half hours from a normal home wallbox charger. A standard domestic three-pin socket will deliver a full charge in five hours.
Is the Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid four-wheel-drive?
No, which is a shame as it sometimes struggles to get it's power down without spinning the wheels. Don'r expect to go off-roading either!
Is the Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid a good company car?
The low benefit-in-kind tax rates mean the hybrid will save you a fortune compared to a petrol version. Bear in mind that you could save even more by choosing a rival car or going for a 100% electric model though.
