How much is the EQV to buy?
The starting price of the EQV is currently £70,655 before any options.
Which EQV is the best?
We’d suggest the EQV Sport Premium, because it adds useful things like electrically-adjusted memory seats up front, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and a useful 360 degree parking camera for not much additional outlay over the entry-level Sport model.
How far can I drive in the EQV?
The quoted maximum range is 213 miles for the Sport model, with the Sport Premium and Sport Premium Plus quoted at 211 miles. We’d suggest stopping at about 180 miles or earlier for a top up, though, the sat nav helping with planning your route and charging strategy.
Can the EQV be had with eight seats?
In Europe the EQV can be had with the same eight-seat layout as is offered here in the standard diesel V-Class. There’s no mention of it in Mercedes-Benz’s UK brochures, and we imagine it’s down to keeping the weight down. That extra seat adding some mass to an already hefty machine.
When is the EQV available?
Mercedes-Benz will be only too happy to take a deposit from you now. Deliveries should start in this final quarter of 2020, but we’ll not likely see a high volume coming to the UK until early-mid 2021.
