Citroen has opened order books for the new-look C5 Aircross SUV, with prices starting at £25,515. The updated Aircross will be available in three specification levels; 'Sense Plus', 'Shine' and C-Series Edition'.
'Sense Plus' replaces 'Sense' on the current C5 Aircross model, offering a number of new features. These include 18-inch 'Pulsar' diamond cut alloy wheels, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, Keyless Entry and Start, plus electric folding exterior mirrors.
The next step up, 'Shine', adds in a driver assistance pack with adaptive cruise control, comfort seats with Alcantara upholstery, video and radar safety assistance braking and 'Urban Black' interior styling.
The top level is the 'C-Series Edition', which has been tailored specifically for the UK market. Starting at £29,105, it includes a 'Perla Nera Black' bi-tone roof, panoramic glass sunroof, motorised tailgate with hands-free access, wireless charging and an anodised bronze colour pack.
Petrol and diesel engines are available across the entire range, but the 'Shine' and 'C-Series Edition' trims are also available as a Plug-in Hybrid, which will combine a 180HP petrol engine with an 80kW electric motor. This will offer drivers up to 34 electric-only miles (WLTP).
The 2022 Aircross has updated exterior styling, including functional air curtains to improve the aerodynamics and a new front grille that Citroen say add to its assertive new look. A new version of the Citroen logo has been included on the front that is now 'detached' from the daytime running lights, whilst at the rear there are new LED light clusters.
