DEUS Automobiles has confirmed that its British-engineered Vayanne EV hypercar will appear at Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance,at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire between August 31 and September 4.
The company has also revealed more details of the model - developed in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering and Italdesign – including some pretty amazing, albeit as yet hypothetical, performance claims.
For example, it claims the DEUS Vayanne (it’s pronounced day-oos vy-ahn) will generate 2,243 horsepower, a top speed of 248 mph and a 0-62 mph time of less than 1.99 seconds.
And all that, it says, comes with a range of up to 310 miles and an 0-80% recharge time of just 20 minutes.
There’s no word on pricing yet but DEUS says it will only build 99 examples and so you can expect cost to be every bit as astronomical as the claimed performance.
