Owners who put their name down on a waiting list for the Model 3 two years ago are now receiving their cars, and are unlikely to want to part with them anytime soon. At the time of writing there weren’t any ex-demonstrator cars listed on the official Tesla website either. However, a few cheeky non-Tesla dealers are advertising used cars for above the list price of a new Model 3. The cheapest had a mark up of £7,500 over the price of a brand new car. To pay that you’d need to be really keen to get hold of one quickly though, as supply to the UK is now free-flowing and the waiting list has almost evaporated. Tesla is quoting a new order delivery date of around eight weeks for all versions of the Model 3, so expect these speculative used prices to come down quickly as the novelty of the Model 3 wears off.
